[skill]Avatar of Lyssa[/skill] | Eternal Aura | Aura of Holy Might | [skill]Heart of Fury[/skill] | Radiant Scythe | [skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill][skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill][skill]Wild Blow[/skill]/[skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Basically the same as the Mel build, but uses Lyssa and Radiant Scythe instead of Mel and Wearying.

Mel is good in 2 cases:
1) Blind city, like shards of orr for obvioius reasons
2) Really tough areas where you expect fights to last more than 10-15s

In all but the toughest of HM areas, the typical Mel devis runs like:
  • whip out staff
  • cast mel
  • cast hof
  • cast aura of holy might
  • cast eternal aura
  • pull out your zealous scythe and auto attack for 10 seconds while you wait for your -30e to get back into positives.
  • Look longingly at the wearying strike that you didn't get to use before all the bad guys were killed.

I just have to ask... where the hell is your prot monk? Why are they not giving you your energy?

Take a look at the enchantments on hench bars, the only one that could give you energy early enough to matter is RoF which they barely use and possibly spirit bond but Karl is too busy maintaining that on the minions

I agree, I stopped running Melandru and moved to Lyssa after the introduction of Eternal Aura and Aura of Holy Might.

I've been working on this for a while, allows you to use SY as a derv with constant spammability, great fun too
